Lenore Bullock

Lenore studied Ballet, Jazz and Character from age 7. She passed all her Royal Academy of Dance Examinations to Advanced Level. In 1978 she was awarded her provisional teaching certificate through Royal Academy of Dance (London), and in 1980 received her full teaching registration. She spent time on cruise ships (Sitmar lines) teaching and performing. And since 1978 has successfully sat over 5,000 children for APDA, NZAMD, TDI and RAD ballet exams. She is also a registered teacher under the following disciplines : TDI, PBT and APDA.

Lenore’s past students have gone on to dance with the Australian Ballet School, the Australian Ballet Company, Les Ballet de Monte Carlo, Nederlands Dance Theatre, Queensland Ballet Company and more. Her students have gained employment on Cruise lines, dancing in Korea, Japan, France and at Disneyland in Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong. Her students competed very successfully at Eisteddfods and competitions throughout Asia,  Australia and New Zealand, and are now dancers and teachers themselves around the world. 

Over the last 10 years Lenore has enjoyed adjudicating throughout NZ and Australia. 

She has been teaching dance to young people for over 40 years, and has owned and operated Studio 246 in Auckland since 1999. The studio is a home to over 600 dancers.  She is so happy to have found her the passion in life, and is very excited to share that passion, and see the wonderful dancers in Northland!

Solos: $15 per item

Duos: $15 per item

Trios: $20 per item

Jazz and Tap Dance Championships: $20

Classical Ballet Variation: $20

National Young Performer: $25

Groups: $30 per group

Late entry fee: $10 for entries submitted during the week after the entry closing date.

Administration fees

Administration fees will not be charged for the 2023 & future competitions.

Note

All entries and fees must be received by the closing date.
Entries are only accepted when entry form and full payment are matched.


Programmes

There will be no printed programmes.
An pdf copy will be available to download free from this website.


Competition Weekend Prices

Weekend Pass: $35 per person

Day Pass: $15 per person

Adults:  $5 per session. Groups session: $10 per person.

Children 5 to 15 years: gold coin donation per session

Children under 5 years free
